Tennessee R & R grew out of a group of Nashville Musicians, The Generation III, featuring vocalist FAY BENSON WEAVER, who performed at after dinner entertainment spots . The more they played, they began to notice more requests coming for songs of nostalgia . People would gather around the piano at the band breaks asking " Do you know this one...or that one...?"
